Hi everyone and welcome to Kande. My name is Jasmin and starting up my own business has always been a dream of mine! Unfortunately, I didn’t have the confidence to until my dad sadly passed away in June 2020.

My Dad has always been my biggest inspiration and would always encourage me to follow my dream! He gave me the courage to take the leap and create this company that is now so meaningful and special to me. I have always wanted to create a business with a purpose, and now, Kande has not only become special to me, but to all those who have lost a love one – giving them the encouragement to spread their wings and follow their dreams too!

I named the company Kande in remembrance of my Dad, as the word derives from the Arabic word for candy. My Dad was Arabic so the meaning behind the name is very powerful to me. I knew instantly when I heard the word that it would be perfect for my business as it makes me feel like my Dad is a part of my journey!
